Today's adventure was brought to you by one Polish chicken who decided the coop was simply too limiting for a bird of her sophistication.
She wasn't escaping…
She was curating an outdoor experience.
She wandered the yard like she owned the place, inspecting every blade of grass, posing under the trees with that fabulous feathered hairdo, and soaking in the summer breeze. It wasn't a jailbreak — it was self-care.
Inspecting every blade of grass with the seriousness it deserves.
The funny part? The second Hela called her, she came trotting right over.
Not because she wanted to go back in.
Because she wanted to hang out with her.
She happily followed Hela around the yard, let her pick her up, and snuggled into her arms… right up until she realized she was going toward the coop. Then came the look.
"Excuse me… I thought we were just spending quality time together."
Sorry, girlfriend. Your spa day had to come to an end.
Owning chickens is funny because every breed has its own personality. This Polish chicken is basically a tiny, feathered diva with an impeccable hairstyle, a serious case of FOMO, and the confidence of someone who believes the entire backyard was designed exclusively for her.
And honestly… she may be right.
