A delicious twist on the classic bagel with cream cheese and lox — perfect for brunch!
⏱ 20 min
🍳 Serves 4–6
🥚 12 eggs
Ingredients
- 12 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 package hot smoked salmon (Trader Joe's is a favorite, but any hot smoked salmon works)
- 1 package Alouette Garlic & Herbs Spreadable Cheese (or substitute Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper until well combined.
- Melt the butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour in the eggs and gently scramble, stirring occasionally, until just cooked through.
- Stir in the garlic and herb cheese until it melts into the eggs and creates a creamy texture.
- Flake the hot smoked salmon into bite-sized pieces and gently fold into the eggs. Cook for another minute, just until the salmon is warmed through.
To serve
Serve immediately with toasted bagels for a fun bagel, cream cheese, and lox twist. Add sliced tomatoes, red onion, capers, or fresh chives on the side for an even more classic deli-inspired brunch.
